Meet Rachel

Hello, and thank you for viewing me work. Born and raised on the beaches of Santa Barbara, California, I bring a unique twist by pairing my background of relaxed California style and the chic and fashion forward elegance of Paris. I am inspired by natural light and organic style images. Currently I split my time between Paris and Santa Barbara/Los Angeles.

My real passion for photography started when I discovered medium format film. Without film, I do not think I would be a photographer today. I love it’s high quality, rich colors, the way light translates and the timeless feel you get from it.

In 2011, I started a wedding photography business based in Santa Barbara with my partner, Patrick Moyer Weddings. We worked together for many years in Santa Barbara before I decided to move to Paris.

In 2017, I took a leap of faith, moved to Paris to attend a one year photography program at Paris College of Art. I wanted to discover and live the European lifestyle for real. I soon discovered how hard it was to move to a new city with out knowing a soul. Throughout my time in Paris, I rediscovered myself and ignited my love all over again for photography all while creating a life for myself here and learning french.

For the past 8 years, I have be photographing wedding and events professionally all over the world. My work has been featured in numerous print and online publications including Style Me Pretty, Vogue Italia, Wedding Chicks, Flutter Magazine, Grey Likes Weddings, Culture Trip and many more..

Working with me

Attention to detail: If we decide to work together, you can expect to enjoy the process through the end result. I spend time with my clients to help them select the perfect locations, assist with hair and makeup and also wardrobe options. I am connected with the best vendors in Paris to make sure my clients are well taken care of.

Work Style: My job is to capture your moments in the most beautiful and timeless way possible. I work with you to put your mind at ease by directing but also by letting the photos be spontaneous and untimed. I shoot a mix of fine art style and documentary style so I can combine the behind the scenes moments while crafting the most beautiful curated images to create a full story. I have a cool laid back approach and ability to connect and capture timeless images of my clients with ease finding unique moments, often unplanned, and documenting them with style. I find most of my inspiration from travel, interior design, fashion, architecture and beauty around me.
