“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

RACHEL McCARTHY

I was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California.

My passion for adventure brought me to Paris to study photography at the Paris College of Art in 2017 after many years as a Santa Barbara based wedding and portrait photographer. Over the past seven years, I have traveled all over Europe photographing weddings, portraits, and travels.  My goal is to create timeless, beautiful, well thought out photography that will stand the test of time.  The timeless quality and aesthetic of film photography is at the core of my work.

“I grew up shooting film and still shoot it to this day. The texture, romantic feel, beautiful skin tones, and the way film translates light are all reasons I love shooting film, it’s gorgeous for weddings... Photographing beautiful places, people, and light keep me inspired and pushes me to be the best at what I do. My goal as a photographer is to contribute to someone's memories, emotions, and enjoyment of a special moment in time. I believe that our memories fade with time, but our images last, and that is something magical. I have always loved looking at old black and white film portraits of the bygone era. There is something timeless about film that just feels more intentional, especially today when we see so many images everyday."

I currently live in Marseille, a seaside city in the south of France, with travels to Paris and California on a frequent basis.
